Over the past 12 years at the Society for Family Health, I have led initiatives to enhance public health by expanding access to antiretroviral therapy, creating innovative prevention programs, and fostering equitable community partnerships. My commitment centers on amplifying the voices of those affected by health disparities, utilizing strategic planning, data-driven decision-making, and stakeholder collaboration to improve health outcomes for marginalized populations.
I am the Co-founder and CEO of mTOMADY gGmbH, a social enterprise using technology to reduce financial barriers to healthcare in underserved communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. We run health financing programs for pregnant women, children under five, and farmers. We also lead a climate × maternal health initiative and are open to collaborations on climate, health, and resilience in Madagascar.

The glaucare company operates in the field of digital health with a focus on ophthalmology. To address the lack of access to eye care in rural regions of Africa and other underserved areas, we developed ophmo, a compact mobile eye clinic. The system is housed in a carry-on–sized case and is designed for excellent usability, making it easy to learn and operate. Medical assistants trained by Glaucare conduct the examinations. Collected data is transmitted to a remote ophthalmologist for diagnosis.
