A former Minister of Health of Afghanistan, he currently leads the Afghanistan Center for Health and Peace Studies in Geneva and serves as a Fellow at Geneva Humanitarian Studies Center and Geneva Center for Security Policy. His work focuses on health systems resilience, health diplomacy, and the politics of global health.
